The most reliable measurement for the chest is one inch below the armhole seam. Essentially from the pit-to-pit width of the shirt.
The best measuring point for the length is from the side seam on the collar down to the bottom of the shirt.
The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the sleeve.
A great way to determine your size is by measuring a similar garment which fits you well before making your online purchase. Take the item, lay it flat and then measure the widest point from one inch below the armpit to the other.
Our shirts are meticulously pre-washed, ensuring minimal to no shrinkage. Your size choice stays as comfortable and reliable as when you first put it on.

PLEASE NOTE: All our measurements have tolerances that may be larger or smaller as noted above with each measurement. Also, your actual body measurement is not a reliable guide. For instance, a chest measuring 42" all the way round divided by two would give you a pit-to-pit measurement of 21". However, in reality, this would be too small because you need a minimum of 1" to 2" in a shirt to allow for movement.
